My fav part in camp

Exploring Te Papa
We walked in side . I went wow! This is big. I wonder how long it will take to walk around this place. I was excited to go and have a look.
I didn’t expect to see the giant ammonite shell first. It is from under the sea.
As soon as we walked in to the area that taught us about the earth we tried lifting all of the different rocks. They were from different parts of the earth. The heaviest was the iron because it is from deep underground. This is where it is the hottest.
The next place we walked into we had to find New Zealand on the big world globe. I felt excited because it was the biggest globe that I have even seen.
I liked the earthquake house. The earthquake house was like a pretend house. We stood in it behind some bars and watched a bit of the news telling us about earthquakes. Then the house started shaking. It shook like a real earthquake. It gave me a fright because I didn’t know it was going to shake.
I liked seeing the bird hanging from the ceiling. It looked like it was actually flying. It was a type of eagle.
I liked it when we saw the tin cow. You know how you get food in tins. They made a bull out of these cans. It made me want to buy it because it was shiny and cool.
My favourite part in the whole museum was seeing the possums and fake trees.
The possums hang in the tree like the Apiti possums.
